NABTEB Launches Digital Certificate Platform
The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) officially launched the NABTEB Digital Certificate Platform (NDCP) on Monday to streamline the certificate collection process.
Prof. (Mrs.) Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, announced this development during the unveiling ceremony at the Board’s National Headquarters in Benin.
Isiugo-Abanihe explained that the NABTEB Digital Certificate platform is a technologically advanced system that allows candidates to easily and quickly access their certificates through web devices, including mobile phones.
She noted that the platform enables candidates to request, make payments, and subsequently generate and download their certificates. According to her, this innovation will significantly reduce the backlog of outstanding certificates.
The NABTEB Registrar praised the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, for providing the Board with an environment that enabled them to perform effectively.
“I am highly delighted to welcome everyone to this epoch-making event today, which is the flag-off ceremony to signal the official opening of the NABTEB Digital Certificate Platform (NDCP).
“I am extremely pleased and honored that this landmark event is taking place during my tenure here and in the presence of our critical stakeholders who are witnessing this event.
“I thank my very diligent management team for supporting this great initiative. To all NABTEB Zonal and State Coordinators and every staff member of NABTEB, I say a very big thank you for standing by me,” Isiugo-Abanihe said.
