The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Edo State Branch on monday celebrated medical professionals as part of activities to mark the 2024 Physicians’ Week.

Edo State Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) , Dr. Eustace Oseghale expressed optimism that medical professionals in the state are living up to expectations in providing quality healthcare services.
Oseghale, who said the activities oganised by the doctors, include exciting matches at the UBTH Sports Complex as the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Edo State Branch hosted the sporting phase of Physicians’ Week.
He said that the Edo NMA football team clashed with the Edo NBA football team, while the female teams took center stage with Edo NMA, facing off against the female physiotherapy team.
The Edo NMA Chairman expressed appreciation and gratitude to stakeholders in the country and particularly the NMA national leadership, Prof. Bala Audu, National President, NMA, for upholding the Physicians’ Week tradition.
He also appreciated Prof. Darlington Obaseki, Chief Medical Director, UBTH, for providing the venue and gracious presence among past Edo NMA executives for their unwavering support towards the successful celebration of the Physicians’ Week
