AIGUOBASINMWIN MOVEMENT WORLD-WIDE has declared Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as the preferred candidate for the Edo South Senatorial seat in the upcoming 2027 elections.
The group called on the Edo State APC to rally round Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu for the Senate ticket, warning that failure to do so may spell doom for the party in future elections in the state.
As the APC primary elections approach, the group’s president, Mr. Iyamu Osaro Culture asserted that Pastor Ize-Iyamu commands widespread support among the Edo people.
In a statement signed by Mr. Iyamu Osaro Culture, Secretary General Mr. Osayuki-Osa Benson, and Diaspora Coordinator Mr. Monday Ohuimumwen JP, the group vowed to mobilize against the APC at all levels should the party nominate an unpopular aspirant other than Pastor Ize-Iyamu.
The statement emphasized that Pastor Ize-Iyamu’s popularity makes him the most viable option for the senatorial district, and ignoring the will of the people would have serious repercussions for the party’s chances in the general election.

It is no longer news that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has the full support of the majority of Edo people for the Senate in 2027.
“Let it be noted that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Senatorial bid is beyond a party affair. It is a revolution for a greater Benin Nation.
“However, if APC fails to heed our call and not give him the party’s ticket, we will not hesitate to mobilize against the party at every level.
“We have done it before, and we are ready to do it again.”he said.
