The training programmes initiated by the Leader, House of Representatives and Iseghede of Owanland, Professor Julius Omozuanvbo Ihonvbere to enhance the agricultural and socio-economic wellbeing of the land and people of Owan federal constituency continued on Monday, 16th February with the training of One Hundred youths in organic fish farming.
The programme which held at the Minister’s Event Centre in Sabongidda-Ora, Owan West LGA, witnessed the distribution of Starter Packs to participants, alongside a significant number of fish and feeds as well as one hundred thousand Naira takeoff grant to each trainee.
On ground to engage the youths in the comprehensive training program were officials of the Federal Cooperative College, Oji-River, Enugu state.
More entrepreneurial trainings facilitated by Prof. Ihonvbere aimed at improving the agricultural fortune of the federal constituency and youths in the area are underway.
