Rt. Hon. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere CON. Majority Leader. Federal House of Representative, has warmly congratulated His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, on his well-deserved recognition as Best Governor of the Year on Education by New Telegraph Newspaper.
According to Prof. Ihonvbere, the award could not have come at a better time, as the Governor’s developmental vision and purposeful leadership are already yielding visible results, particularly in the education sector and other critical areas of governance.
He noted that the commitment of the Okpebholo administration to educational reform is evident in the recent employment of thousands of teachers across the state, a bold intervention aimed at strengthening learning outcomes and addressing manpower gaps in public schools. This, he added, is further complemented by the ongoing massive construction, rehabilitation, and renovation of educational infrastructure across Edo State since the inception of the administration.
Prof. Ihonvbere described the award as a validation of Governor Okpebholo’s people-oriented policies and a clear testimony that purposeful governance, when driven by vision and sincerity, will always attract recognition.
