Barr. Henry Idahagbon, the former Attorney General of Edo State and Commissioner for Justice, has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s profound impact on Nigeria’s political and economic landscape.
Idahagbon described Tinubu’s contributions as “legendary,” asserting that his administration has made unprecedented strides in addressing long-standing economic challenges.
He noted that the current administration has achieved more in under three years than what previous administrations could accomplish in six decades.
Idahagbon emphasized that Tinubu’s administration distinguishes itself by proactively tackling national economic issues that have plagued Nigeria since its independence 63 years ago.
He stated, “This is the first administration that has addressed our national economic lamentations since independence 63 years ago. He has demonstrated that the duty of government is not to join the masses in lamentation but to bring the people out of lamentation.”
According to Idahagbon, the current administration has overcome policy shortcomings that had previously hindered progress, demonstrating a bold approach to reform.
Idahagbon said,”Tinubu represents an era in Nigeria’s economic development.” Adding that the President’s initial term in office has already surpassed the impact of previous reform efforts.
He maintained that Tinubu’s policies and leadership are setting the stage for a new chapter of economic growth and stability in Nigeria.
Idahagbon, who represents Edo, Ekiti and Ondo States at the Federal Civil Service Commission(FCSC) stated this at the weekend during an interview, while calling on all Nigerians across the world to invest back home by taking advantage of the various reforms by the administration as it continues to open the economy to all who bring in new capital, new knowledge, new ideas, and a new level of efficiency .
While relishing the various triumphs of the administration, he maintained that President Tinubu is poised for a surge of new growth in building a strong, independent, and self-reliant nation at the forefront of the world’s nations in service to humanity.
He further described Tinubu as a veteran in humanitarian service and human capital development who has focused on building a bottom-up administration where leaders draw their strength not from themselves or even their office but from the people. “He has directly impacted the lives of the vulnerable through various schemes, including direct educational scholarships to Nigerian students through NELFUND. Human welfare programs and policies that were only possible abroad are now being implemented across the nation for the benefit of Nigerians.
While assuring that with 24 hours’ notice to the 2027 general elections ,President Tinubu will win in a landslide, the former Council Chairman of Egor Local Government emphasized that the administration has given succour to ordinary people and hope to millions.
“More Nigerians have relocated back home from abroad due to the enabling environment and the entrenchment of democratic governance, which has put Nigerians at the centre of all developmental agenda.
The former Attorney-General, however, cautioned Nigerians who are always in a hurry to pounce on any mistake of their leaders to be wary of their ways. “We must learn to operate as one nation. We should be speaking the language of oneness and unity rather than waging war to win peace.If the 2027 Presidential election were suddenly scheduled to take place tomorrow, President Bola Tinubu would win with 24 hours’ notice. His performance is a sufficient campaign to guarantee his victory at any poll even with 24 hours’ notice.Sovereignty belongs to the people and, through elections, they gave it to President Tinubu to exercise on their behalf”, Idahagbon posited
