According to a statement by Barr. Josephine Oike, Assistant Secretary of Ossiomo Investment Ltd., the company legally acquired the land in 2008 from the Oba of Benin.
The land consists of two parcels: one with survey plan No. OSA/2030/BD90, divided into areas A (589.611 Hectares) and B (399.968 Hectares), and another with plan No. OSA/2132/ED 94 (521.690 Hectares), totaling 1,511.269 Hectares.
