A socio-cultural group, Owan Conscience is set to roll out the drum to hold the maiden edition of OWAN DAY CELEBRATION slated for Saturday 31st of May, 2025.
Speaking ahead of the ceremony, the chairman of Owan Conscience, Barr. Richard Ofen-Imu expressed the preparedness of the body for the occasion.
He noted that all arrangements have been perfected to ensure a hitch free ceremony.
The event, which will hold at Afuze, the administrative headquarters of Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State is expected to feature an array of cultural activities.
“The ceremony, which is designed to bring the Owan people together for reflection, cultural exploration and collective advancement, will feature a variety of cultural exhibitions from the clans and communities across the two local government areas in Owan.
“Talks and discussions on Owan history, leadership and development among others will also take the centre stage.”he said.
